McCormick Backpack is a non-profit ministry that provides weekend food for preschool and school-aged children
who have been identified by school personnel as in need of nutritious weekend foods.
The organization ensures that 100% of the money collected goes directly towards purchasing food for the children,
whose identities are kept confidential.

At McCormick Backpack, we strive to improve the lives of underprivileged children by providing them with food for the weekends. Our aim is to help break the cycle of poverty and give these children a chance at a better future.

Founded and incorporated as a non-profit organization with a 501c tax exempt status in 2015, McCormick Backpack has been working tirelessly to help children in need for over 9 years. We have no employees, only volunteers from various organizations and churches who pick up food, pack, load, and deliver to the McCormick Schools and Head Sta
Founded and incorporated as a non-profit organization with a 501c tax exempt status in 2015, McCormick Backpack has been working tirelessly to help children in need for over 9 years. We have no employees, only volunteers from various organizations and churches who pick up food, pack, load, and deliver to the McCormick Schools and Head Start Programs. We have nine board members, one school liaison, and over 60 other working volunteers.
